Advocacy & Equity Studies virtual information session

Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 4:00 PM until 5:00 PMEastern Daylight Time UTC -04:00

Learn about Furman University's Master of Arts in Advocacy and Equity Studies during our virtual information session!

This program is designed for problem-solvers and community leaders: those who see issues in society and want to make a change. Our graduate students will learn to apply social justice theories, develop public narratives for social change, cultivate grant writing skills, conduct community-engaged research, and strengthen community organizing skills.

Students will engage in a thesis-in-action, seminars for in-depth study, and practical application through a community project. Learn about the goals, outcomes, and details of the program with a presentation and Q&A with program director Dr. Shaniece Criss.
