Summer Orientation at Furman
As a new member of the Furman student body, we want to make sure you get off to a rousing start, and that begins with Summer Orientation. We are excited to offer a one-day, in-person Summer Orientation program for students and their families.
“Summer O” focuses on your academic path at Furman. You’ll learn about navigating the academic transition from high school, attending a liberal arts institution, and preparing for fall course selection.
The cost to attend Summer Orientation is $75 per student, which includes you plus one parent or guest. Additional guests can register to attend for $30/each.
Registration for Summer O is now open! Click your preferred date below to register. The deadline to register and/or make any adjustments to your registration is May 31. Participation in each session is limited, so don’t wait to register once you have made your deposit!
We realize that not everyone may be able to attend Summer Orientation in-person and will offer a number of virtual opportunities for new students this summer. Those unable to attend Summer O will be scheduled to complete a virtual academic advising appointment.
