Visit Details
Your visit will include a 30 minute group information session led by an Admissions Counselor, followed by a 90 minute walking and riding tour of Furman's campus led by one of our student ambassadors. During the walking tour you will experience our academic buildings, Trone Student Center, Dining Hall and more. The riding tour includes the opportunity to see some of our residence options, Physical Activities Center, and more of our 750 acre campus.

Please plan on spending 2.5 hours with us for the full campus visit.

We offer the following ways to customize your visit. You may request any of these options within the registration form below. These additions will be scheduled outside of the 2.5 hour campus visit window. Please provide at least 10 business days (2 weeks) for us to schedule a personalized visit.

Attend a general, first-year class (juniors, seniors, and transfer students only)
Meet with one-on-one with a faculty member (seniors and transfer students only)
Enjoy lunch with a current student (all prospective students)

Seating on the riding tour is extremely limited, so providing an accurate guest count on the registration form will ensure your entire party can participate in the riding tour.

Sit in on a Class

We invite you to attend a general first-year class during your visit at Furman. Because of Furman's liberal arts approach, the class you observe will be one of our General Education Requirements and will provide you with an understanding of the breadth of our engaged learning and liberal arts approach. Class visit opportunities for our Fall visits will begin on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

For Fall visits - we are still confirming class offering availability and anticipate having that information available by early September. Faculty Meeting Request

Do you have specific questions about your intended area of study? We offer high school seniors the chance to meet individually with a faculty member from your preferred academic area of interest. Our faculty look forward to answering your questions and engaging in a conversation with you! Faculty meetings for our Fall visits will begin on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
