Special Tour Group - Request for Information

Thank you for your interest in bringing your group to visit Furman University!

If we are unable to honor your request for a counselor-led information session and/or student-led tour, we are happy to share with you details on our self-guided tour options instead.

Completing this form submits your request to bring your group to Furman University for a visit.  You will receive an email with a summary of your requests upon submission. Please submit all requests at least 3 weeks prior to the requested visit date. We respectfully ask that you do not make travel arrangements to Furman until you have received visit confirmation from the Office of Admission.

Requirements (please review before submitting request):

    • Visiting students must be in grades 9-12, or enrolled in a junior college or other four-year university.
    • One chaperone should be present for every 10 students attending a campus visit.
    • A chaperone must accompany every group of students going out on a tour.
    • Requests should come from schools or other academic programs.
    • We may be unable to accommodate your group during peak visit times in October, March, or April. For Fall 2022, we anticipate not being able to support group visits during the following days:
      • August 10-23
      • September 5-9
      • October 10-14
      • November 21-25
      • December 15 - January 9

    Visit Options
We offer group visits Monday - Friday at 9:45am and 2:15pm during the Fall and Spring, and 10:15am and 2:15pm during the Summer. Group visits may include a 45-minute walking tour of campus where students will see our academic buildings, Trone Student Center, and Dining Hall. We do not show residence halls on group visits, but we do encourage students interested in seeing residence halls to come back to campus for an individual visit.

We are happy to suggest some area restaurants in Travelers Rest or in Downtown Greenville that can support group visit volume; however, on-campus dining facilities are not open to the general public as a COVID-19 protocol.
