Never include cents when reporting financial information. Numeric values fields are only able to accept whole dollars, not decimals. By including cents, it is possible the financial information being reported may be inadvertently overstated.
Financial aid applications are tax year specific. Tax year 2024 will be requested as part of the 2026-2027 aid applications (available for completion after October 1)
If you are requesting an early aid estimate
before
October 1 of the student's senior year:
Complete the currently available application (Fall 2025/Spring 2026) with 2024 IRS tax figures. You will note the application requests 2023 IRS tax information; however, for the purposes of an aid estimate, it should be completed with the most recent 2024 IRS tax information.
If you are requesting an early aid estimate
on or after
October 1 of the student's senior year:
Complete the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 application with IRS tax information as indicated on the form.
All students who apply for need-based aid will be required to complete both the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 CSS Profile
and
the 2026-2027 Free Application for Federal Student Aid to receive a confirmed offer of financial aid, if admitted.
