Master of Arts in Advocacy and Social Policy
This program is designed to prepare graduate students to become effective change agents and leaders at the intersection of social policy, advocacy and community-driven change. Through a combination of core courses, electives and hands-on experiences, students will gain a deep understanding of how to drive social change within communities, nonprofits, governmental associations and other policy-making arenas. Learn about the goals, outcomes and details of the program with a presentation and Q&A.
Master of Science in Innovation and Leadership
This program develops leaders who leverage creativity, critique, feedback and iterative processes to develop team-based solutions for the challenges facing the communities they serve. Students learn to understand and apply, identify and employ collaborative strategies to amplify innovation, and devise solutions within rapid change, uncertain futures, and imperfect information. Learn about the goals, outcomes, and details of the program with a presentation and Q&A.
Master of Arts in Education – Literacy
Offered fully online, Furman’s Master of Arts in Education (M.A.Ed.) with a concentration in Literacy promotes equity, inclusion and deep learning about literacy theories, processes and instructional practices while emphasizing leadership skills and effective coaching practices. Discover how you can transform your K–12 literacy teaching and students’ learning through the development of in-depth knowledge and expertise as a literacy teacher.
